Building a Synergy Business

One of the goals that must be achieved in implementing the strategy is to obtain synergies between the various functions and existing business units. Company divisions are said to gain synergy if the ROI of each of the company’s divisions is greater than the ROI when the divisions are separated as independent business units. The process of acquiring or adding product lines is often used as an excuse to gain excellence in certain functionalities within a company.
